EVENT OVERVIEW Developing a qualified, skilled and job‐ready workforce is a significant challenge for Central Oregon businesses. Mike Gragg of WIN and Janice Chandler of Redmond‐based PCC Structurals will discuss best practices from around the US on the use of the National Career Readiness Certificate as an assessment tool for managing talent and career development planning. WorkSource Oregon is implementing the NCRC, which is part of a national credentialing program that measures real world job skills. It helps employers identify qualified candidates for specific jobs, so you can be confident about an individual’s ability to apply essential skills to critical tasks. It also helps job seekers verify their abilities to employers who are hiring. WHO SHOULD ATTEND? • CEOs and Business Owners • Human Resources Managers and Administrators • Public Sector Officials and Administrators • Workforce Development, Economic Development and Labor Profession
